This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Application Technical Lead based in India.

The Enterprise Application Technical Lead will drive the design, development, integration, and operational support of complex enterprise‑grade digital solutions. This hands‑on leadership role combines deep software engineering expertise with cloud architecture, enterprise integration, and emerging AI technologies. You will translate business requirements into scalable technical designs while contributing directly to development, code reviews, deployment, and production support. The role involves building Java/.NET services, Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, event‑driven integrations, and cloud‑native applications primarily on AWS. You will also explore opportunities to apply AI/ML, large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and agentic workflows to deliver business value. Working in an agile, collaborative environment, you will mentor engineers, strengthen data governance and security, and help deliver resilient, innovative solutions aligned with strategic objectives.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the technical design, development, implementation, and operational support of complex enterprise applications, including Java/.NET services, Spring Boot microservices, MVC‑based web components, REST APIs, event‑driven integrations, and cloud databases.

• Translate business requirements into comprehensive enterprise solution designs, producing high‑level and low‑level design documentation, sequence diagrams, data‑flow diagrams, and API contracts.

• Identify and develop opportunities for digital solutions using AI/ML, large language models (LLMs), retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.

• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and event‑driven integrations using ActiveMQ or comparable messaging platforms to connect enterprise applications with upstream and downstream systems.

• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes and AWS cloud‑native infrastructure, leveraging services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and IAM.

• Maintain data quality, integrity, and security across enterprise applications in accordance with organizational policies and applicable compliance requirements.

• Implement data protection measures, including encryption at rest and in transit, data masking, and appropriate handling of personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive data.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and external vendors to gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and develop effective solution designs.

• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers, provide technical guidance, and support the resolution of complex engineering and troubleshooting challenges.

• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences, facilitating alignment and effective decision‑making across teams.

• Apply commercial awareness to prioritize business needs and deliver solutions that provide measurable value and support strategic objectives.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of organizational data strategy and governance frameworks.

• Support agile delivery practices, continuous integration and deployment, production observability, service resilience, and ongoing technical improvement.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of demonstrated professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership capacity.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Broad software development experience in one or more programming languages, such as Java, .NET, Python, C, or C++.

• Proven experience leading the design and development of cloud‑hosted, enterprise‑grade applications and distributed systems.

• Strong understanding of enterprise integration, API‑led connectivity, RESTful services, event‑driven architecture, and messaging platforms.

• Hands‑on experience with AWS services, cloud‑native application development, Kubernetes, and container‑based deployments.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Practical experience with Claude Code or similar AI‑assisted software engineering tools and AI‑powered development workflows.

• Experience developing AI/ML applications is preferred.

• Strong understanding of data architecture, relational and NoSQL data modeling, database design, data security, and governance frameworks.

• Knowledge of secure software development, encryption, sensitive‑data protection, risk management, configuration management, and release practices.

• Demonstrated experience delivering projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies and contributing effectively to collaborative problem‑solving environments.

• Strong analytical, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

• Ability to balance hands‑on engineering responsibilities with technical direction, team development, operational accountability, and business‑focused decision‑making.
