Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking a materials/logistics professional to manage daily receipts, issues and inspections, and to streamline SAP MM-based processes for IR/GRN/MRN. The role requires hands-on experience in inventory verification and logistics coordination, supporting project activities and audits.

The candidate will coordinate storage, preservation, and scrap handling, ensuring timely material availability and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in daily receipt, stacking, issues, returns and inspection of materials.
• Knowledge of SAP MM module for MRN/GRN/IR processes.
• Experience in physical inventory verification and material inspections.
• Experience coordinating logistics, storage and scrap management.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily physical receipts, stacking, issues, returns and inspections.
• Expedite system preparation for IR/GRN/MIN/MRN in SAP MM.
• Maintain perpetual inventory verification and material inspections.
• Oversee preservation processes and OGP/NRGP procedures.
• Issue materials for routine and project activities.
• Provide logistics and administrative support for project takeovers.
• Organize logistics resources including trailers, cranes, and manpower.
• Manage scrap sales and scrap yard operations with supervisors and labor team.
• Coordinate material issue, binning, storage, preservation, transfer, issue and reconciliation.
• Participate in internal and third-party audits of material handling and safety processes.

Job description

• Daily Physical Receipts, Stacking, Issues, Returns & Inspection of materials
• Expediting for system preparation of IR/GRN/MIN/MRN for physical receipts/issues/returns/stock transfers, in SAP (MM Module).
• Proven track record of working in Materials Department
• Perpetual Inventory Verification, physical Inspection of Material.
• Handling preservation process.OGP& NRGP process.
• Materials issue for routine and project activities.
• Provide effective logistics and administrative support for the timely and successful project takeover
• Organize logistics and material handling resources, such as trailers, cranes, manpower, lifting tools/ tackles.
• Manage Scrap sales related activities like management of Scrap Yard and all the Receipt, Issue and dispatch activity organizing with assistances of supervisors and Labors team.
• Coordinate for material issue, binning, storage, preservation, transfer, issue & reconciliation of material.
• Involved Internal and third party audits towards material handling and legal safety, process improvement audits.
