Job description

The Engineering Services Technician will be responsible for supporting plant engineering, utility maintenance, preventive maintenance, breakdown response, equipment servicing, and facility upkeep in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This requires ITI, Diploma, or B-Tech qualification with 1–10 years of experience, technical troubleshooting skills, safety awareness, and knowledge of pharma engineering practices.

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment and utilities.
• Support maintenance of HVAC, AHU, compressor, boiler, chiller, purified water, and electrical systems as assigned.
• Attend engineering complaints from production, QC, warehouse, and support departments.
• Monitor equipment performance, utility parameters, and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain engineering logbooks, checklist records, calibration support, and service documentation.
• Coordinate with production, QA, safety, vendors, and senior engineering staff for maintenance work.
• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification activities when required.
• Identify technical faults, leakage, abnormal noise, vibration, or unsafe equipment conditions.
• Follow lockout-tagout, permit-to-work, PPE, and plant safety requirements.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed without compromising GMP compliance.
• Support spare parts tracking, tool handling, and material requirement reporting.
• Assist in utility area cleaning, equipment inspection, and preventive checks.
• Report breakdowns, repeated failures, or safety risks to seniors promptly.
• Support audit readiness through proper maintenance documentation.
• Ensure reliable engineering service support for smooth plant operations.
