Job summary

VASUDHA PHARMA CHEM, Hyderabad, is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end procurement of engineering materials, project equipment, and services supporting greenfield and brownfield projects. You will ensure timely availability of materials to keep projects and plant operations running smoothly, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

You will lead vendor identification and audits, negotiate commercial terms, finalize contracts, and drive cost

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of engineering materials, project equipment, utilities, spares, and services.
• Source and procure process equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, dryers, exchangers, pumps, compressors, chillers, boilers.
• Procure electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and civil materials for greenfield, brownfield, and expansion projects.
• Lead techno-commercial evaluations and negotiations.
• Finalize purchase orders, rate contracts, annual contracts, and service agreements.
• Achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing and value engineering initiatives.
• Monitor market trends for steel, equipment, electricals, instrumentation, and project materials.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of engineering materials, project equipment, utilities, spares, and services.
• Source and procure process equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, dryers, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and utility systems.
• Procure electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and civil materials required for greenfield, brownfield, and expansion projects.
• Ensure timely availability of engineering materials to support uninterrupted project execution and plant operations.

Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Conduct vendor audits, performance evaluations, and capability assessments.
• Build strategic partnerships with OEMs and engineering service providers.
• Maintain approved vendor lists and supplier databases.

Commercial Negotiations

• Lead techno-commercial evaluations and negotiations.
• Finalize purchase orders, rate contracts, annual contracts, and service agreements.
• Achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing and value engineering initiatives.
• Monitor market trends for steel, equipment, electricals, instrumentation, and project materials.
