Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a seasoned TMMS & VoIP System Designer to lead the design, engineering, integration and maintenance of telecom systems for rail, metro, airport and critical infrastructure projects.

You will design TMMS architecture, IP-based telephony topology, and interfaces with CCTV, PA/PIDS, and other subsystems, while ensuring interoperability with legacy systems and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in telecom system design and integration.
• Experience in railway, metro, airport, smart city, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design TMMS architecture and engineering for Telecom Maintenance Management Systems.
• Define monitoring requirements for telecom subsystems and interfaces.
• Design interfaces between TMMS and telecom systems (CCTV, PA/PIDS, Telephone, Radio, Transmission).
• Develop alarm management, event logging, and SNMP-based monitoring solutions.
• Prepare FAT/SAT procedures and support testing, commissioning, and RAMS activities.
• Prepare and maintain SDDs, ICDs, network diagrams and BOMs.

The TMMS & VoIP System Designer is responsible for the design, engineering, integration, testing, and maintenance support of Telecommunications Maintenance Management Systems (TMMS) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems for railway, metro, airport, and infrastructure projects. The role ensures reliable communication, centralized monitoring, fault management, and maintenance of telecom systems in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Suitable for Railway, Metro, Airport, Data Centre, and Critical Infrastructure Telecommunication Projects.

Key Responsibilities -TMMS Design & Engineering

• Develop Telecom Maintenance Management System architecture and design.


• Define monitoring and control requirements for telecom subsystems.


• Design interfaces between TMMS and telecom systems, including:

• Conduct functionality, performance, and redundancy testing.


• Verify alarm reporting, fault management, and call quality requirements.


• Support troubleshooting during commissioning and operations.
