Job summary

Live Connections in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, India seeks an experienced SMT & PBA Manufacturing Engineer with 10+ years in automotive electronics manufacturing. You will lead engineering and maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment and drive improvements in OEE and yields.

You will mentor lines and technicians, ensure IPC-A-610/ESD/SPC/IATF 16949 compliance, and manage model changeovers, tooling and fixture control to maximize line uptime.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on experience in SMT & PBA Manufacturing Engineering / Equipment Maintenance.
• Automotive Electronics Manufacturing experience – Mandatory.
• ICCU (Integrated Charging Control Unit) assembly experience – Preferred / Priority.
• Strong hands-on electromechanical troubleshooting, fixtures, tooling, pneumatic jigs and test equipment.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610, ESD, SPC, IATF 16949 & TPM.
• Strong technical leadership and emergency troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SMT & PBA Assembly engineering, technical operations, troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Troubleshoot SMT/PBA equipment – Solder Paste Printer, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven, AOI, Wave Soldering, ICT/FCT.
• Manage jigs, fixtures, pallets, carriers and tooling – repair, alignment, maintenance and quick changeover.
• Lead model changeover & line setup – feeder setup, stencil change, nozzle calibration and program loading.
• Drive OEE, FPY, yield improvement and reduce downtime/setup time.
• Perform RCA, 8D, 5-Why and corrective actions for solder bridging, tombstoning and misalignment defects.
• Implement TPM, preventive & breakdown maintenance to maximize line uptime.
• Lead and mentor Line Engineers & Maintenance Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610, ESD, SPC and IATF 16949.
