The ideal candidate has successfully transitioned from a hands-on technical role into engineering leadership and has experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing engineering teams.

This role requires a balance of technical expertise, people management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or more software engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Hire, mentor, coach, and develop engineers and technical leads.
• Drive the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale Java applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and execution plans.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and performance.
• Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, and succession planning.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and improve engineering productivity through metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and resource planning across multiple projects.
• Promote DevOps culture, CI/CD adoption, automated testing, and cloud-native development practices.

Required Qualifications
