Job summary

Innovapptive is seeking a Platform Integrations lead to unite SAP Integration and Maximo Enablement into a single scrum team, and own the OT integration layer. You will drive bi-directional sync, Open API/Webhooks, and 3rd-party connectors.

You will mentor engineers, oversee pipeline reliability, observability, and data integrity, while delivering enterprise SaaS integrations on schedule.

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing engineering teams with platform integration experience (S/4HANA / BTP/ IDocs/ BAPIs/ ERP’s).
• Experience with message queue architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and sync pipeline patterns.
• Track record shipping enterprise SaaS integrations on schedule.
• Familiarity with Maximo integration (REST APIs, automation scripts) is a strong plus.
• Comfort with observability: monitoring sync pipelines, dead letter queues, data integrity checks.

Responsibilities

The Role

This role takes ownership of the Platform Integrations team, merging the SAP Integration and Maximo Enablement teams into one scrum team. This person is also going to take care of our OT integration layer.

What You Own

• Integration patterns: bi-directional sync, Open API/Webhooks, 3rd-party MDM, Maximo/SAP connectors, OT Integrations with platforms like Seeq, Augury, Applied Computing etc.
• Sync pipeline reliability: dependency ordering, retry mechanisms, dead letter handling. Zero silent data loss.
• People: hiring, performance classification, coaching.

You Must Have

• 7+ years managing engineering teams with platform integration experience (S/4HANA / BTP/ IDocs/ BAPIs/ OData/ERP’s).
• Experience with message queue architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and sync pipeline patterns.
• Track record shipping enterprise SaaS integrations on schedule.
• Familiarity with Maximo integration (REST APIs, automation scripts) is a strong plus.
• Comfort with observability: monitoring sync pipelines, dead letter queues, data integrity checks.

• MongoDB and change stream-based event architectures.
• SAP BTP and cloud-based ERP integration patterns.
