Job summary

Innovapptive is hiring a Manager BizOps to own Professional Services operations, capacity planning, project governance and audit/compliance for our services organization. This role will also manage invoicing, revenue recognition, and billing utilization while delivering executive-grade dashboards to support P&L decisions.

You will lead PMO models, forecasting, and data-driven insights, partnering with Finance, HR, Sales and Delivery to optimize margins and utilization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Professional Services operations, PMO, or business operations with end-to-end ownership of delivery and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Establish and run standardized PMO operating models, project P&L governance, RAID frameworks, billing milestones, and cross-BU delivery processes.
• Build and maintain forecasting, utilization, bench-time and resource-availability models; provide demand vs. supply scenarios and hiring guidance.
• Lead portfolio governance (QBRs/MBRs/WBRs), milestone tracking, executive reporting, and real-time decision intelligence through dashboards.
• Implement and maintain PMO audit frameworks, quality audits, CSAT governance and compliance controls for ISO/SOC/CMMI initiatives.
• Own invoicing cadence, billing utilization calculations, revenue recognition inputs, billing disputes, milestone billing workflows, and reconciliation with finance systems.
• Transform and maintain Professional Services datasets; build ETL/analysis processes and deliver insights (utilization trends, margins, leakage) to leadership.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Manager BizOps to own Professional Services operations, capacity planning, project governance & reporting, and audit & compliance for our services organization. This role will also manage invoicing, revenue recognition, and billing utilization while delivering executive-grade dashboards and insights to support P&L and workforce decisions.

How You Will Make An Impact.

• Professional Services operations: Establish and run standardized PMO operating models, project P&L governance, RAID frameworks, billing milestones, and cross-BU delivery processes to ensure predictable delivery and margin control.
• Capacity planning & resource management: Build and maintain forecasting, utilization, bench-time and resource-availability models; produce demand vs. supply scenarios and hiring/bench recommendations.
• Project governance & reporting: Lead portfolio governance (QBRs/MBRs/WBRs), milestone tracking, executive reporting, and enable real-time decision intelligence through Power BI/Looker-type dashboards.
• Audit & compliance: Implement and maintain PMO audit frameworks, quality audits, CSAT governance and support controls required for ISO/SOC/CMMI style initiatives.
• Financial billing & revenue tasks: Own invoicing cadence, billing utilization calculations, revenue recognition inputs, billing disputes, milestone billing workflows, and reconciliation with finance systems (e.g., NetSuite OpenAir or equivalent).
• Data management & insights: Transform, cleanse, and maintain Professional Services datasets; build repeatable ETL/analysis processes and deliver actionable insights (utilization trends, margin levers, billing leakages) to leadership.
• Stakeholder & leadership engagement: Present data-backed recommendations to Executive Leadership, respond to ad-hoc leadership queries, and partner closely with Finance, HR/recruiting, Sales and Delivery

What You Bring to the Team

• 7+ years in Professional Services operations, PMO, or business operations roles with end-to-end ownership of delivery and financial controls.
• Demonstrated experience with forecasting, utilization and capacity planning, project P&L governance, and billing/revenue processes.
• Hands-on data management: advanced Excel, ETL/transformation experience, Power BI (or Looker/Tableau) dashboarding and working knowledge of PSA tools (NetSuite OpenAir, Jira, or equivalent).
• Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills; comfortable answering leadership questions using data.
• Familiarity with audit/compliance frameworks and quality controls supporting ISO, SOC2 or CMMI initiatives is preferred.
• Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and drives corrective action before they escalat.
• Data-driven communicator who can simplify complex analytics into clear recommendations and confidently present to executive audiences.
• Collaborative operator who partners across all departments to influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred

You Will Be Measured On

• Restore/achieve target Professional Services gross margin and reduce billing/revenue leakage. (Define numeric targets per company goals).
• Deliver automated executive dashboards and reduce reporting cycle time by ~50%.
• Improve utilization accuracy and reduce bench-time month-over-month.
• Implement audit and quality controls required for compliance milestones (ISO/SOC/CMMI).
