Job summary

Appsierra Group in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Engineering Manager, Data & Analytics to lead the India Data & Analytics engineering team and drive the design and development of an enterprise data platform. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable data solutions powering AI and BI across the organization.

Key responsibilities include setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and delivering data architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, SQL, and Python.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in data engineering, data architecture, BI or related fields.
• At least 3 years of technical leadership or engineering-management experience.
• Strong hands-on SQL, Python, Power BI, Fabric, Azure skills.
• Experience designing enterprise data warehouses, lakehouses, or modern cloud data platforms.
• Excellent communication, English language, and stakeholder engagement.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager, Data & Analytics - India to join our team. The role will lead our India-based Data & Analytics engineering team and drive the design and development of Midera's enterprise data platform. You will work closely with global teams to deliver scalable data solutions that power AI and business intelligence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical and engineering direction for the India Data & Analytics team.

• Design and implement scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, SQL, and Python.

• Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team.

• Drive data architecture, pipelines, and integration of ERP and operational systems.

• Collaborate with AI and analytics teams to enable enterprise AI initiatives.

Required qualifications

• 8-12+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data architecture, business intelligence or related disciplines.

• At least 3 years of meaningful technical leadership or engineering-management experience.

• Strong hands-on SQL, Python, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure skills.

• Experience designing enterprise data warehouses, lakehouses, or modern cloud data platforms.

• Excellent communication, English language, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to have

• Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and other ERP integration.

• Experience with AI, machine learning, generative AI, or enterprise AI engineering teams.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern development practices.
