Job summary

DigitalCube Consultancy in Pune, Maharashtra, seeks an Engineering Manager – Data Engineering to lead multiple data squads and drive enterprise-scale data platform initiatives. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic delivery, operating in a hybrid work model.

The successful candidate will own end-to-end delivery, mentor 20+ engineers across squads, and partner with stakeholders to align data architecture with banking and financial services requirements.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in Data Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of Engineering/Data Engineering leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Platform and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple data engineering squads.

HIRING: ENGINEERING MANAGER – DATA ENGINEERING

Experience: 10–15+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager – Data Engineering to lead multiple data engineering squads and drive enterprise-scale data platform initiatives.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 10–15+ years in Data Engineering
• 3–5+ years of Engineering/Data Engineering leadership
• Strong hands-on experience with Data bricks
• Data bricks Workspace, Delta Lake, DLT, Unity Catalog, Workflows & Auto Loader
• Strong expertise in PySpark, Spark SQL, Python & SQL
• Experience leading 20+ member teams / multiple squads
• End-to-end delivery ownership
• Banking / Financial Services experience highly preferred
