Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is assisting a Bangalore-based client to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager who will lead the design, development, and delivery of large-scale cloud-native products. You will manage high-performing Agile teams while remaining hands-on with architecture and technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12–15 years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years leading engineering teams in an Engineering Manager or similar role.
• Strong experience building cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Deep expertise in Java/J2EE, with Node.js or Go advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Domain-Driven Design, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience delivering Java-based web applications using MVC frameworks.
• Experience delivering React Native, Android, and iOS applications.
• Proven experience building high-scale, high-performance systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• eCommerce experience is desirable.

Responsibilities
