Job summary

Teradata, a leading cloud analytics and data platform provider, seeks a Manager, AI Engineering in Hyderabad to lead next‑gen AI products.

You will shape the product vision, drive architecture, and guide teams of Senior/Staff Engineers across Product, Cloud, and Customer teams to deliver end‑to‑end capabilities with strong emphasis on quality and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 11+ years of experience in large-scale product development, distributed systems, or AI/ML, managing teams and senior engineering talent.
• Strong problem solving skills, familiarity with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs and agentic AI systems.
• Expertise in microservices development, RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, SDLC, CI/CD, observability and production operations.
• Experience building high quality products in fast-paced technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Be hands-on and drive the design, architecture, development, evolution, delivery and adoption of one or more AI products.
• Lead and develop high performing engineering teams including Staff and Senior Engineers.
• Shape the product vision, technology roadmap, and engineering strategy for AI products.
• Involve in technical decision making, guiding coding, architecture, modelling, system design, and production excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver end-to-end capabilities.

As a Manager,AI Engineering, you will lead Teradata’s highly visible, nextgenerationAI products. In this role, you will:

• Be highly hands‑on and drivethedesign, architecture, development, evolution,deliveryand adoptionofone or more AI products.

• Establish data‑driven processes and feedback loops to continuously improve product quality, performance, and engineering efficiency.
• Build and sustain a culture of ownership, innovation, high accountability, and technical excellence across your teams.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, AI/ML advancements, and industry best practices to ensure long‑term product and organizational success.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Scienceor equivalent from a recognized institution.
• 11+ years of experience in largescale product development, distributed systems, or AI/ML,managingteams andseniorengineering talent.

• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive alignment across teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to varied audiences.
