Job summary

Teradata Bengaluru, India seeks an AI Engineer to design and deliver scalable AI products within our AI stack. You will collaborate with engineers, AI/ML specialists, product managers, and cloud architects to advance Teradata’s AI capabilities.

You will build and integrate RESTful APIs, work with SQL/NoSQL databases, and apply AI/ML techniques including agentic AI and LLMs to improve development speed and quality, while staying current with cloud-native tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• 2+ years of backend services, distributed systems, or data platform development.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python for service development.
• Understanding of design principles, distributed system patterns and service frameworks.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Strong debugging, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with modern containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms.
• Experience with AI productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Ability to work independently and deliver high quality outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
