Job summary

Digital Harbor in Bengaluru is seeking an Engineering Manager (Java) to lead and grow our software engineering team, shaping architecture and delivery.

You will oversee 10–12 engineers, drive end-to-end projects, implement SCRUM/Agile practices, and ensure robust, scalable microservices built with Java/Spring Boot in a cloud-first environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with product teams to deploy and support product packages.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of hands-on engineering management experience.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Must have cloud experience with AWS.
• Strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals.
• Experience in end-to-end project management using SCRUM/Agile.
• Experience in product/package deployment and support.
• Excellent team leadership skills (10–12 team members).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Drive end-to-end software architecture and delivery for complex projects.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align on requirements and priorities.

Role: Engineering Manager(Java)

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Job Requirements:

• Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).
• Must have hands on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.
• Cloud experience should be mandatory. AWS is the first preference.
• Object oriented analysis and design skills.
• Strong understanding on n-tier web architecture, workflow and security.
• Should have successful prior experience in end-to-end project management using SCRUM/Agile.
• Proven Experience in designing and/or developing Solutions based on Products/Packages.
• Experience in User Interface Design and Usability or Information Architecture/Data Modeling.
• Experience in Product/Package deployment, implementation, and support will be a big plus.
• Should possess excellent team management skills (at least10 -12 members).
