The role requires 10–15 years in maintenance engineering, a BE/BTech/ Diploma, and strong experience with cGMP audits, ISO documentation, and vendor management.

Job Title: Manager/ Sr. Manager Maintenance & Engineering

Location/Base: Sanand, Ahmedabad

Department: Maintenance & Engineering

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech./ Diploma

Experience: 10 to 15 years

Reporting to: AVP Operations

Salary bracket: 6 to 10 Lacs

JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, Planning, and execution of the Break down and Preventive maintenance of Equipments.
• Exploring adds on and improving the documentation to meet regulatory trends and cGMP requirements.
• Ensuring all time readiness in terms of documentation and facility.
• Representing the department, facility and documentations during audits like MHRA, USFDA, TGA, WHO and other regulatory authorities.
• Executing and accepting safety audits with different panels and expertise.
• ISO documentation and audits for the facility.
• Initiation planning and execution of the brown field projects with money and margin foundations.
• Inventing and implementation for the ways out to reduce the operational costs in maintenance and operations.
• Operation of Utilities for uninterrupted plant functions.
• Validation of the systems and handling the QMS (Deviations, change request) activity.
• Making of the contracts and agreements for the vendors.
• Ensuring high standards of safe workings.
• Inventing newer ideas regularly to reduce energy footprint and profitability margins.
• Routine and non-routine training and improvement of the team to have responsible and responsive workings.
• Micromanagement and implementation of the plans and schedules.
• Harmonization of the procedures and methodology with other locations.
• Executing audits and self-inspections for department health diagnosis and imparting corrective actions.
• Initial tenure in project phase was involved major activities like:

1. Detailing layouts as per requirements and input from experts.

2. Detailing of the engineering utilities and engineering set up.

3. Making of the URS for systems and equipments for manufacturing and engineering functions.

4. Making of BOQs, tendering, technical, comparatives, floating orders, negotiations and releasing as per schedules.

5. Monitoring the works of erection commissioning at site with technical and safety aspects.

6. Billing and reconciliation activities from time to time as per finance requirements.

7. Making terms and conditions for the AMCs ARCs for facility management and vendor services.

8. Commissioning of equipments as per schedule with resources availability,

9. Initial qualification documentation for systems like SOPs Utilities, HVAC systems.

10. Harmonies the unit SOPs as per other units and minimize the SOPs count.

11. Documentation like Risk analysis, study protocols, justifications, rationales etc.
