ProLegion is seeking a Senior Manager / AGM – Engineering Lead (BESS) in Bangalore. The role requires 12+ years in electrical engineering, with Bachelor's/Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering.

You will lead the engineering team for BESS, Solar, and Wind EPC projects, manage power evacuation systems, and coordinate with outsourcing teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. The position focuses on technical leadership, tender input, and ensuring compliance with grid codes,

Senior Manager / AGM – Engineering Lead (BESS)

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 12+ Years

Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering team for BESS, Solar, and Wind EPC projects.


• Manage engineering activities related to Power Evacuation Systems, including Switchyards, GSS Upgradation, Transmission Lines, Communication Systems, and AC/DC Electrical Systems.


• Provide technical leadership and coordinate with outsourced engineering (OE) teams for project execution.


• Deliver technical inputs for tendering and future bidding activities.


• Coordinate with clients to ensure timely engineering deliverables and project milestones.


• Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable grid codes and project requirements.


• Support EPC project execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams and resolving technical issues.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in Power Evacuation Systems and Grid Integration.


• Hands-on experience in Switchyard, GSS, Transmission Line, Communication Systems, and AC/DC Electrical Systems.


• Experience in engineering leadership and managing technical teams.


• Strong knowledge of EPC project engineering and execution.


• Experience in client coordination and tender engineering.

Mandatory Regulatory Exposure:

• Working knowledge of CTUIL, CEA, MSETCL, MSEDCL, KPTCL, or TNEB regulations is mandatory.


• Exposure to additional state or central grid regulations will be an added advantage.
