Job summary

ABEX Excellence Pvt Ltd is seeking an Engineering Lead / Architect to design, build, and guide the development of our next-generation voice AI platform. You will shape architecture, mentor engineers, and ensure we deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

You will own the overall system design, define APIs and data models, align technology choices with product goals, and collaborate with Product, UX, DevOps, and QA to ship robust cloud services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering experience with 2+ years in lead/architect role
• Experience designing large-scale, distributed systems
• Strong API design skills, databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Hands-on with Node.js/TypeScript; Python is a plus
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• CI/CD, security best practices, and monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

About the Role

Were seeking an Engineering Lead / Architect to design, build, and guide the development of ournext-generation voice AI platform. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-onleadership shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and ensuring we deliver high-quality,scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Own the overall technical architecture and system design of our platform (including APIs,

Choose appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to align with business and product

goals

Define and review API contracts, data models, and infrastructure components

Break down product features into detailed engineering tasks and estimate effort

Set and enforce coding standards, security practices, and performance guidelines

Mentor, coach, and review code from engineering team members

Collaborate closely with Product, UX, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure alignment and quality

Oversee scalability, reliability, and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure
