Job summary

Scimplify in Bengaluru is seeking a senior software engineering leader to own the engineering roadmap, system architecture, and technical direction. You will guide a team of engineers, mentor talent, and drive delivery for scalable platforms.

The role requires 8–12+ years of experience with 3+ years in leadership, plus strong expertise in system design, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems. Proficiency in Python/Java/Node.js is expected; React is a plus.

• Drive cloud-native development using AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Ensure system reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence.
• Lead critical production incidents and root-cause resolution.
• Evaluate new technologies and continuously improve engineering processes.

• Strong experience with AWS/GCP, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.

Preferred

• Experience in high-growth startup/scale-up environments.
• Exposure to AI/ML or data-heavy platforms.
• Experience building and scaling engineering teams.
