Novotel Hyderabad Airport is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Engineer to support daily operations and ensure the reliability of building systems. You will supervise equipment upkeep, follow hotel policies, and collaborate with departments to maintain guest comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have an ITI in Electrical/HVAC/Mechanical Engineering with 1–2 years in facilities or 3 years as a team lead, plus strong English communication and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Assistant Engineer with day-to-day operations.
• Adhere to Novotel Hyderabad Airport policies and guest service standards.
• Supervise upkeep and maintenance of hotel equipment.
• Report to management on issues affecting the hotel's interests.
• Ensure temperature controls for cold stores and public areas meet specs.
• Inspect firefighting, electrical systems; coordinate servicing/testing.

Novotel Hyderabad Airport designed to help guests find their way around easily is built on simplicity and elegance and well positioned near the new international airport. The hotel features 290 rooms and suites in the Premier Floor with WiFi access, along with a restaurant, a bar, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and meeting rooms accommodating up to 400 guests covering a total area of 7 acres. Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the Assistant Engineer in the overall day to day operations.
• Conform and adhere to the policies & procedures and rules & regulations laid down by Novotel Hyderabad Airport in order to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service.
• To supervise the upkeep and maintenance of all the equipment of the company.
• Any matter which may effect the interests of Novotel Hyderabad Airport should be brought to the attention of the Management.

Operational Management

• Check and ensure that the temperature of cold stores, public areas etc. are maintained as per the specifications.
• Check and ensure the working condition of fire detectors, firefighting systems, transformers, electrical systems, etc.
• Coordinate with other departments for regular servicing and testing of equipment.
• Check and ensure that proper safety measures have been adhered to and also ensure maintenance of all firefighting equipment.
• Ensure that all the first aid kits are available for use in their proper places.
• To supervise the operations of Air-conditioning plant, boilers, pumps etc.
• Ensure that desired level of water is maintained in water storage tanks.
• Ensure correct maintenance of all equipment in conjunction with the other user departments & stay abreast of technological advances in surveillance & safety equipment.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

• ITI in Electrical/HVAC/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Facility management or Hotels or3 years as Team lead.
• Good reading and oral proficiency in English language.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills.
• Good communication and customer contact skills.
• Results and service oriented with an eye for details.
• Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations.
• A team player & builder.
• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
