Job summary

Hilton Gurugram is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to manage shift operations across plant and maintenance services. You will supervise the DG sets, AC systems, water supply, and energy management while coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, safety compliance, monitoring energy costs, maintaining equipment records, and liaising with guests and contractors as directed by the Chief Engineer.

• ResponsibleforPlant&Maintenanceoperationsinthehotel

• SmoothrunningofD.G.Sets,A/cSystems,WaterSupplySystemandGeneralMaintenanceSystem.

• Controllinganddeputing staffasperthenationandrequirements.

• Optimumutilizationofavailablemanpowerincludingassigningduties,onthejobtrainingandperformanceevaluation.

• KeeptheChiefEngineerinformedofalltheactivitiesincludingBreakdowns,fire&unusualeventsec.

• Shiftoperationofallservices&plants

• Monitorstaffonshift,tools&machinery,firesafetypanels,pumpsetc.

• Assiststafftocarryouttheirjobs.

• Liaisonwithotherdepartmentincarryingouttheabovedutiesandassistotherdepartmentwhereevernecessary.

• VisitotherdepartmentsforexecutingEngineeringTasks

• RegularInspectionofallPlant&Machinery

• Controlallthestaffandco-ordinatewithotherdepartments.

• Indenting/approvingqualityofengineeringmaterials.

• CarryoutdutiesasspecifiedbyChiefEngineerin time to time.

• Supportsandinitiateprogramsfortheimprovementproceduresandthereductionofenergyandutilitycosts

• Analysestandmonitoredenergycostsandexpendituresforthedepartment.

• Maintainsanequipmentandmachineryrecordsystmfortheproperty

• RecommendestotheAssistantChiefEngineernuewpoliciesandproceduresforamoreeconomicaloperationandmaintenanceprogram

• InteractsandcooperatewithHotelguestsandoutsidecontractorsasdirectedbyhis superior

• Assists tradesmenwithmaintenanceandrepa wwhenrequired

• Conductsshiftbriefingstoensurehotelactivitiesandoperationalrequirementsareknown.
