Job summary

Tema India Pvt Ltd. invites applications for a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Design. The role focuses on supporting mechanical and thermal design of process equipment under structured training, preparing drawings, and learning codes and engineering practices.

You will gradually develop proficiency in design tools and documentation, with exposure to HTRI and related thermal design software. Freshers encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 0–1 year experience; freshers preferred.
• Exposure to thermal engineering / heat transfer / HTRI is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support design and engineering activities for process equipment under training.
• Develop competency in mechanical and thermal design and calculations.
• Prepare engineering drawings and documentation.
• Learn industry codes and use engineering software including HTRI.
• Coordinate cross-functionally and assist in datasheets and reports.

Documentation & Data Management

• Prepare and maintain:
  • Design calculations

• Assist in thermal design of:
  • Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers
  • Air Cooled Heat Exchangers
• Learn heat transfer fundamentals and process calculations.

Support preparation of thermal datasheets and calculation reports.

Develop proficiency in design tools and software.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to company procedures and quality standards.

Follow design checklists and review mechanisms.
