Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking an Engineer - Tractor PTO Lab Testing to plan, execute, and validate PTO tests for tractors in a lab setting. You will monitor performance, durability, reliability, and compliance with design specs and regulations, collaborating with design and engine teams.

This role requires hands-on instrumentation, calibration, and experience with test systems such as Puma and ORBIT, ensuring accurate data and safe laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on instrumentation and calibration for test cells.
• Familiarity with emission norms relevant to tractor homologation.
• Experience with ECU interfaces and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of test operating systems and data acquisition tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute PTO performance, endurance, durability, reliability, and validation test plans.
• Conduct PTO power, torque, speed, efficiency, temperature, vibration, and overload testing as per engineering standards.
• Validate PTO system performance across different tractor models and operating conditions.
• Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OECD, ISO, BIS, and CNH standard requirements.
• Support new product development, design verification, and benchmarking activities.
• Prepare detailed test reports and technical summaries.
• Collaborate with design, transmission, and engine teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain testing procedures, instrumentation setups, and calibration records.
• Ensure safety and laboratory SOPs during testing.

Title: Engineer -Tractor PTO Lab Testing

1. Job Purpose: The PTO (Power Take-Off) Test Engineer is responsible for planning, conducting, monitoring, and validating PTO system performance, durability, reliability, and compliance testing for tractors. The role ensures that PTO performance meets design specifications, regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and quality standards through laboratory Testing.

3. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -
