Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. seeks a Quality Engineer for Tractor assembly with a strong QA background in manufacturing plants. You will drive audits, implement KAIZEN, and ensure compliance with SOP/SOS, SPC and MSA studies.

Education: Diploma in Mechanical or BE in Mechanical/Automobile; 8–10 years for Diploma or 5+ years for BE. Proficiency in SAP and auditing is essential, with a track record of improving product quality on the shop floor.

Formación

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Automobile engineering is expected.
• Experience requirement: Diploma 8–10 years; BE 5+ years.
• Strong background in quality assurance within assembly environments.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct process audits of Tractor assembly and paint shop & PTCED shop.
• Analyse customer complaints, assembly line rejections, and supplier part analysis; implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement (KAIZEN) initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Ensure adherence to SOP/SOS; monitor SPC and MSA studies; support ECN/Engineering Change Management.

• Ensure quality of Tractors through Process audits of Tractor Assembly and Paint shop & PTCED shop
• Understanding of basic assembly process, criticality in process & product.
• Good knowledge of sheet metal & plastic components.
• Analysing customer complaints, Assembly line rejection, Supplier parts analysis and taking corrective actions, Standardizing all the Quality Procedure.
• Experience in Quality assurance function in assembly plant
• Continuous process improvements (KAIZENS) to achieve consistent product quality.
• Implementation of POKA-YOKES to eliminate human error.
• Monitoring and ensuring adherence to processes with SOP/SOS by periodic process audit, SPC and MSA studies.
• Responsible for Engineering Change Management Process,
• Exposure to Quality management systems
