Job summary

Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai is seeking an Engineer to oversee testing, commissioning and warranty activities at the site. The role requires hands-on experience with propulsion, APS and TCMS systems.

You will perform fault investigations, support T&C engineers, execute modification programs, comply with EHS procedures, and be willing to work night shifts.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics.
• 2–3 years of experience in rolling stock T&C activities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing day-to-day warranty and commissioning activities at the site.
• Provide necessary test, commissioning, and warranty support to T&C Engineers.
• Perform fault investigations, fault data analysis and repair failures in collaboration with T&C Engineers as soon as they occur.
• Should be able to perform mainline tests, trails, investigations in coordination with the Engineers.
• Execute SECP, HECP modification programs at the site under the guidance of T&C Engineers.
• Comply with site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) procedures.
• Flexible to work night shifts.
