Talent Hired-the Job Store seeks a Battery Pack Testing Engineer to drive validation, certification, and homologation for Li-ion battery systems used in EV and BESS projects.

You will coordinate lab testing, generate reports, maintain certification records, and support timely product approvals while reporting to the Lead Battery Pack DVP.

Qualifications

• Experience with battery pack testing and validation.
• Knowledge of AIS/IEC/UL/GB/T standards.
• Ability to plan, execute, and analyze tests.
• Coordinate with external labs and cert agencies.

Responsabilités

• Execute Design Verification Plan activities for battery pack programmes; prepare test procedures, test requests and validation schedules.
• Coordinate internal and external laboratory testing; monitor progress against approved procedures; ensure samples, instrumentation and documentation are available.
• Run mechanical, electrical, environmental, safety and abuse, reliability, durability and performance tests, including vibration, shock, thermal, ingress protection and endurance.
• Support witness testing and audits; ensure compliance with test standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with certification agencies and accredited labs; prepare regulatory submissions and test evidence packages.
• Maintain homologation dossiers and certification records; track certification status and closure of observations.
• Analyze test data; prepare validation reports and summaries; document failures and track corrective actions and re-validation.
• Work with Battery Pack Design, BMS, Thermal, Quality, Manufacturing and Program teams; give regular testing and certification status updates.

Role & responsibilities

Execute battery pack testing, validation, certification and homologation for lithium-ion battery systems used in EV and BESS applications. Coordinate laboratory testing, generate test reports, maintain certification documentation and support timely product approval. The role reports to the Lead Battery Pack DVP.

Hands-on experience in battery validation programmes is preferred; specialization in testing, validation, EV battery systems or homologation is an advantage.
