Job summary

Hyosungtndindia is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to design and execute high-voltage and power tests both in-house and at third-party labs in Pune district. The role requires keeping current with ANSI/IEEE/IEC/UL standards and supporting improvements in testing operations.

Applicants should have a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 3 years of experience with electrical power equipment, including high voltage 38 kV or above, and hands-on lab equipment knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years electrical test engineering experience on electrical power equipment.
• Experience with High Voltage 38 kV or above.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment; data acquisitions, oscilloscopes, analog and digital sensors.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute high-voltage & power tests in-house and at third-party labs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable ANSI, IEEE, IEC, UL standards.
• Assist in design, construction and installation of equipment to improve testing operations.
• Develop schedules, coordinate and manage projects of minor to major size with little to no supervision.
