Job summary

Clariant Power System Limited is seeking a Testing Engineer to review drawings, perform comprehensive electrical and wiring tests, and verify panel functionality across PCC, MCC, and other power distribution units. You will configure multiple communication protocols and HMI setups while troubleshooting faults and preparing detailed FAT reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IEC 61439, IEC 60947, IEC 62271.
• Electrical drawings and control schematics.
• Protection relays, HMI basics, communication protocols.
• Testing instruments and calibration.
• Good reporting and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings (GA, SLD, schematic, BOM) before testing.
• Perform mechanical inspection, wiring verification and functional tests.
• Test PCC, MCC, APFC, RTPFC, AHF, SVG, MV/HT and protection panels.
• Configure and verify Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, IEC 61850 and SCADA communication.
• Configure HMI, protection relays and energy meters.
• Troubleshoot electrical and communication faults.
• Prepare FAT/Internal Test Reports and customer documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, QA, Customers and Inspection agencies.

• Perform mechanical inspection, wiring verification, IR, HV, continuity, earth continuity and functional tests.
• Test PCC, MCC, APFC, RTPFC, AHF, SVG, MV/HT and Protection & Control panels.
• Configure and verify Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, IEC 61850 and SCADA communication.
• Configure HMI, protection relays, energy meters and communication parameters.
• Troubleshoot electrical and communication faults.
