Qualifications

• Experiential: Preferably 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts using CMM and CONTOURECORD.
• Coordinate with customers for material requests and report findings.
• Support test rig and customized equipment testing.
• Prepare CNC machine programs.
• Attend trainings for personal development.
• Understand mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of CMM operation and CNC turning; AutoCAD adds advantage.
• Handle CONTOURECORD/EDM machines.
• Operate of special purpose machines.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Results oriented; plan, manage and prioritize.

Job Title - Engineer - Test Rig Operations

Purpose of the role / functional context:

• The position is responsible for handling Test rig, CMM and CNC Activities, supporting PC's for products requests to analysis & generate reports. Involving in developing new set of fixtures to reduce the lead-time. Good knowledge on Mechanical to understand the problems and to provide solutions.
• Work closely with the cross functional teams to understand the background history of failures or areas of improvement and this leads to improvement of the product.

Job Responsibility:

• Responsible for inspection by using CMM & CONTOURECORD
• Co-ordinating with Customers for new material requests, conducting required analysis and sending. reports to customers after investigations done at GRTC.
• Support to Rig & Customized equipment testing activities.
• Responsible for preparing programs of CNC machines
• Attending trainings pertaining to personal development
• Thorough Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of CMM Operation, CNC turning & Auto-cad will have added advantage.
• Knowledge in handling Contourecord, EDM machine
• Knowledge in handling, operating of special purpose machines
