Job summary

Vantive in India seeks a field service engineer to install and maintain Baxter-distributed products in the defined area. You will drive service revenue through contracts and spare parts, and establish strong communication with customers and teams while complying with the quality system.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of field experience servicing medical equipment, strong electronics knowledge, soldering skills, ESD protection, and proficiency in English and the local language.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years field experience in servicing medical equipment or similar.
• Good communication skills in English and local language.
• Basic understanding of electronics and safety standards (ESD).

Responsibilities

• Install service and maintain products distributed by Baxter in the defined area.
• Drive Service Revenue through service contracts and spare parts sales.
• Establish & maintain communication with customers, team members and business contacts.
• Ensure all activities follow instructions within the quality system.
• Report all relevant service activity to keep data updated in the service system.
• Provide sales support on products and processes within the geographical area.

Summary

• Install service and maintain products, distributed by Baxter in the defined area of responsibility.
• Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Service Revenue through Service contracts and Spare parts sales.
• Establish & maintain communication with customers, team members and business contacts
• Ensure all activities are performed following the available instructions and information, within the quality system framework.
• Report all relevant service activity, to ensure updated and accurate service data in the service system
• Perform sales support activities on products & processes within the geographical area of responsibility
• Skills:
• Basic understanding/knowledge of electronics, soldering skills, ESD protection, Understanding/knowledge of the Medical Device Directive
• Good communication (written and Oral) in English and Local Language.
• Natural interest in IT applications
• Basic use of current Windows operating systems and Use of MS office applications (Word, Excel,)
• Qualification and Experience:
• Graduate/ Diploma in Electronics or Biomedical Electronics/ECE/Instrumentation Engineering
• 3-5 years field experience in servicing medical equipment or preferably medical instrumentation or electro-mechanics or equivalent through experience
