Overview
As the Consultant Supply Chain Planning Functional Lead IT, you will partner with the Business Relationship Manager and Supply Chain Planning leadership to design and deliver technical solutions. You will support the cloning of Supply Chain TSA applications, working with the Technical Lead and third‑party integrator to time and implement all cloned applications, enabling the planning function to achieve its goals and maintain Vantive’s market leadership.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for core Supply Chain Planning applications and processes.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage the backlog, prioritize projects and features based on impact and alignment with strategic goals.
- Integrate customer and industry research, stakeholder requirements, and best practices into product priorities.
- Create and maintain documentation, development standards and best practices, ensuring the platform is secure and compliant with regulations.
- Align design with Vantive's global model, business rules, and other applications; challenge requirements when necessary.
- Serve as product engineer for agile or SDLC based project teams.
- Work with in‑house application teams and third‑party service providers to build knowledge and resolve incidents.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
- Keep up with emerging technologies and develop new technical skills as needed.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures to standardize tasks and ensure consistency.
- Communicate status, solutions, and concerns; disseminate information, deliver presentations, and address issues at all levels.
- Mentor, coach, and lead less experienced technical team members; foster professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Information Systems, ERP supply chain planning systems, and software development methodologies.
- 3+ years of functional configuration experience in SaaS application implementation (preferably KINAXIS Rapid Response).
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain planning operations and how technology can be leveraged; hands‑on experience with Forecasting, Distribution Planning, MRP, Production and Inventory planning.
- Experience with ITSM processes, ServiceNow or Jira (preferred).
- Ability to integrate supply chain applications with other systems.
- Managing stakeholders and expectations.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with matrixed teams.
- Interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with business, data science, and technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of lean product principles and software development lifecycle.
- Foundational project management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
