Job summary

SV Management Consultants in Indore, MP seeks a structural design professional to perform RCC and steel (PEB) design using STAAD.Pro, RCDC, and IDEA StatiCa. The role covers pipe supports, foundations, and steel framing systems, with close collaboration with drafting teams.

You will prepare design docs, reports, BOMs, and ensure constructible designs aligned with IS/AISC/MBMA standards, focusing on safe, optimized structural solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in STAAD.Pro, RCDC, and IDEA StatiCa.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Excel-based calculation sheets, and modelling review tools.
• Knowledge of IS codes, AISC, or MBMA standards.
• Strong understanding of load paths, foundation behaviour, and structural stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel (PEB) structures using STAAD.Pro and RCDC.
• Design structural components such as beams, slabs, columns, footings, rafts, connections, light gauge steel and different type of steel framing systems.
• Assist in the development of safe and optimized PEB building systems.
• Execute design of pipe support platforms, equipment foundations, and pipe racks based on industrial layout and loading.
• Design steel connections (bolted and welded) using IDEA StatiCa and manual calculation methods.
• Prepare and support connection design reports and detail drawings.
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of Design Basis Reports, load calculations, and design documentation.
• Support in producing calculation sheets, sketches, and BOQ for structural elements.
• Estimations and BOM for both steel and RCC work.
• Work closely with drafting/modelling teams to ensure accurate structural detailing.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for clash-free and integrated designs.
• Support review of Tekla or AutoCAD models for design validation and constructability.
