Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in STAAD Pro.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing plant structures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, design and member sizing using STAAD Pro as per IS and international codes.
• Design and analyze equipment support structures, PEB structures, conveyor galleries, trestles, platforms and industrial buildings.
• Work on structures involving monorail and EOT crane provisions, crane buildings and industrial sheds.
• Develop structural loading criteria covering dead, live, wind, seismic, equipment, crane and operating loads.
• Prepare structural design calculations, validation reports and engineering documentation.
• Design steel connections and coordinate structural detailing requirements.
• Prepare structural load data for foundations and support columns.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for structural modelling inputs.
• Review deliverables and participate in design reviews and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with detailing agencies for fabrication-ready drawings.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with 35 years of experience in structural analysis, design and detailing of industrial and manufacturing structures. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in STAAD Pro and exposure to PEB, equipment support structures, conveyor galleries, trestles, platforms, crane supports and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, design and member sizing using STAAD Pro as per applicable IS and international codes.
• Design and analyse equipment support structures, PEB structures, conveyor galleries, trestles, platforms, stairways and structural buildings.
• Work on structures involving Monorail and EOT crane provisions, crane buildings and industrial sheds.
• Develop structural loading criteria covering dead, live, wind, seismic, equipment, crane and operating loads.
• Prepare structural design calculations, validation reports and engineering documentation.
• Design steel connections and coordinate structural detailing requirements.
• Prepare structural load data for civil foundations and support columns.
• Develop engineering calculations using MathCAD and prepare structural MTOs and preliminary quantity estimates.
• Coordinate with equipment, civil, mechanical and other cross-functional teams for structural modelling inputs.
• Review engineering deliverables and participate in design reviews and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with external detailing agencies and ensure timely delivery of fabrication-ready drawings.
• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable IS, ACI, AISC, Eurocode, IBC, AS 4100 and AS/NZS 1170 standards.
• Support design optimization to achieve safe, economical and fabrication-friendly structures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in STAAD Pro.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing plant structures is preferred.
• Experience with PEB, conveyor galleries, trestles, equipment support structures, bridges, platforms and industrial buildings.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MathCAD and Tekla.
• Good understanding of structural steel design and IS codes, including wind and seismic loading.
• Ability to independently handle engineering assignments and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
