Engineer - Electronics in the Manesar/Gurgaon area. The role requires 5–15 years of hands-on experience in electronics maintenance for Heidelberg printing equipment and related packaging machinery. You will diagnose and repair PLCs, drives, HMIs, encoders, and control panels, ensure preventive maintenance, back up PLC programs, and coordinate with OEM service engineers.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation
5–15 years experience in maintenance of printing/packaging machinery
Experience with Heidelberg printing machines
Strong PLC troubleshooting & automation skills
Knowledge of electrical safety compliance and LOTO procedures

Responsibilities

Electronic & Electrical maintenance of printing/packaging machinery
Preventive and breakdown maintenance of Heidelberg machines (CP2000, Prinect)
Maintain electrical systems of die-cutting/folder-gluer/pasting/rigid box machines
Diagnose faults in PLCs, drives, servos, encoders, sensors, relays, HMIs
Coordinate with OEM service engineers for complex automation issues
Execute preventive maintenance schedules; document as-built drawings and reports
Maintain PLC backups and machine parameter configurations
Support DG sets, compressors, and power distribution systems
Promote safe maintenance practices and participate in audits
Mentor junior engineers and technicians in electronics troubleshooting

Position: Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Electronics

Responsibilities

Electronic & Electrical Maintenance
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of Heidelberg printing machines, including CP2000 and Prinect control systems.
Maintain electronic systems of BOBST die-cutting, folder gluer, pasting, and rigid box machines.
Diagnose and repair faults related to PLCs, drives, servo motors, encoders, sensors, relays,HMIs, and electrical control panels.
Ensure minimum machine downtime through quick and effective troubleshooting.
PLC, Automation & Control Systems
Troubleshoot and rectify PLC faults in Siemens and Allen Bradley platforms.
Monitor machine automation systems and optimize control performance for reliable production.
Maintain PLC backups, machine parameters, and control system configurations.
Coordinate with OEM service engineers for complex automation and software-related issues.
Preventive Maintenance & Documentation
Execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical and electronic equipment.
Maintain electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, PLC programs, and technical documentation.
Record breakdown history, fault analysis, corrective actions, and maintenance reports inERP/MIS.
Analyze recurring failures and implement preventive solutions.
Utilities & Power Systems
Support maintenance of DG sets, compressors, utility control panels, and power distribution systems.
Maintain electrical and instrumentation systems associated with utilities and ETP operations.
Ensure uninterrupted power availability for production equipment.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
Participate in internal and external audits related to engineering and safety compliance.
Promote safe maintenance practices across the plant.
Team Support & Continuous Improvement
Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams during critical breakdowns.
Train operators and technicians on basic electrical fault identification and preventive care.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians on machine electronics and troubleshooting.
Contribute to automation, reliability improvement, and machine upgrade projects.
