Job summary

Arm Limited in Bengaluru seeks a performance analysis engineer to run benchmarks on Linux and bare-metal, collecting latency, bandwidth and utilization metrics, and to investigate bottlenecks with guidance from senior engineers.

You will develop C/C++ and Python scripts for workload characterization, compare results to architectural expectations, and communicate findings to influence microarchitectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in SoC Performance Analysis within the semiconductor industry.
• Strong background in computer architecture and microarchitecture, including pipelines, cache hierarchy, memory systems, and system-level performance interactions.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for developing performance analysis tools, automation frameworks, profiling infrastructure, and data visualization.
• Experience working in Linux and bare-metal environments.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to present complex performance findings and influence architectural decisions.
