Job summary

Optiv in Bengaluru seeks a security automation engineer skilled in Python and SOAR platforms. You will author, test, and maintain automation scripts, integrate SOAR with security tools, and collaborate with engineers and ISSOs to provision accounts and improve SOPs. Excellent English is required, with on-site work 3 days a week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of expert-level proficiency with Python.
• 3+ years of working knowledge of security scripting, APIs, and web technologies.
• 3+ years of experience with SOAR platforms (e.g., Sentinel, Swimlane, Cortex XSOAR, Exabeam).
• Authored SOC SOPs, playbooks, and process documents.
• Excellent English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Author, test, and maintain automation scripts/workflows within SOAR.
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient and reusable Python code.
• Integrate SOAR with security tools and APIs to automate workflows.
• Coordinate with admins and ISSOs to provision service accounts and permissions.
