Job summary

Hyosung T&D India Private Limited in Maharashtra is seeking a lead design engineer for high-voltage GIS switchgear. You will interpret specifications, prepare electrical drawings and technical documentation, and address IEC standards.

You will coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams for project execution, mentor engineers, and ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience in high‑voltage switchgear or substation engineering is essential.
• Strong understanding of GIS products and IEC standards.

Requirements

• B.E./B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6-14 years of experience in high-voltage switchgear or substation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of GIS products and IEC standards.
• Experience in handling technical queries and troubleshooting GIS equipment.
• Background in the substation or switchgear industry is preferred.

Required Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Expertise in managing and coordinating design teams.
