Job summary

Bull Machines Pvt Ltd in Sulur, Coimbatore is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer (MED) to own end-to-end NPI for assembly and fabrication. You will drive proto/pilot readiness, coordinate cross-functional gates and lead issue resolution for continuous improvement.

The candidate should have strong experience in NPI/Manufacturing Eng within heavy engineering or automotive sectors, with hands-on CAD design and process knowledge.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Automobile or Manufacturing Engineering with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in NPI / Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in construction equipment, earthmoving, heavy engineering or automotive industries.
• Hands-on knowledge of Assembly, Heavy Fabrication/Welding, fixture, tooling and gauge design with 2D/3D CAD.
• Good understanding of GD&T, DFM/DFA, PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plan, SOP/WI and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end NPI execution for Assembly & Fabrication from drawing release and virtual build through proto, pilot and SOP.
• Manage 5–6 NPI projects per quarter, ensuring milestone tracking, risk escalation and On-Time NPI delivery.
• Drive fixture, tooling and gauge development, including design, fabrication, trials, validation and readiness before builds.
• Coordinate proto/pilot part readiness, DFM/DFA reviews, gate sign-offs and manufacturing process readiness with cross-functional teams.
• Lead build issue resolution, root-cause analysis, rework reduction and lessons learned, while driving continuous improvement and standardization.

Your Profile:
