Job summary

Landis+Gyr AG is seeking a Hardware Design & Development Testing Engineer (RF) in India to drive hardware/firmware testing, ensure compliance, and coordinate with manufacturing, engineering and product management. The role emphasizes reliability testing and robust test plans within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have 2–6 years in hardware testing, experience with RF products, and familiarity with PCB CAD (Altium).

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of experience in hardware design and testing.
• Experience with testing to applicable product standards.
• Cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, engineering and product teams.
• PCB CAD experience is a plus (Altium).

Responsibilities

• Hardware/firmware testing against applicable product standards.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering and product managers.
• Ensure test execution is on time with documented proof.
• Analyze test results, validate, track defects and provide status.
• Create/modify test plans and reports.
• Defect verification and adherence to project schedule and quality.
• Coordinate with teams during project execution on issues and resolutions.
• Type test of product and coordinate with third-party labs for certificates/compliance.

• Hardware/firmware testing w.r.t to applicable product standards.
• Co-ordination with L+G counterparts like manufacturing, engineering, and product manager.
• Work within a team to ensure product testing is completed on time and with the required level of documented proof.
