Job summary

Tractebel in Gurgaon, India, seeks a Senior Secondary Side Electrical Design Engineer to lead complex detail engineering for Oil & Gas and energy projects. You will collaborate with global multidisciplinary teams on large-scale assignments, shaping critical infrastructure for the energy transition.

Responsibilities include developing protection/ control philosophies, designing schematics, IO lists, and interfaces with DCS, PLC, SCADA and ESD systems, while reviewing vendor docs and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in engineering consulting or EPCM environments.
• Proven FEED and detail engineering experience for Oil & Gas or Energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and API standards for electrical protection and control.
• Hands-on with relay coordination, control schematics, and system interfaces.
• Familiar with hazardous area design and intrinsic safety principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across diverse teams.
