Tractebel in Gurgaon, India is seeking a Senior Secondary Side Electrical Design Engineer to lead detailed engineering of secondary electrical systems for large-scale Oil & Gas and Energy projects. You will coordinate with global, multidisciplinary teams on on-site delivery and ensure compliance with international standards.

The role demands 10–15 years of FEED and Detail Engineering experience, strong expertise in protective relays, control schematics, DCS/PLC/SCADA interfaces, and hazardous

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in engineering consulting or EPCM environments.
• FEED and Detail Engineering experience for Oil & Gas or Energy sector projects.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and API standards for electrical protection and control.
• Hands-on experience with relay coordination, control schematics, and system interface design.
• Familiarity with hazardous area design and intrinsic safety principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead detailed engineering of secondary electrical systems including protection, control, interlocking, and monitoring schemes.
• Develop and review protection and control philosophies for Oil & Gas and Energy facilities.
• Design control and relay schematics, wiring diagrams, IO lists, and cable schedules to international standards.
• Define and manage interfaces with DCS, PLC, SCADA, and ESD systems; review vendor documents and participate in technical bids.
• Support hazardous area classification and intrinsic safety design requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement within the electrical discipline.

Senior Secondary Side Electrical Design Engineer Detail Engineering

What You'll Do -

• Lead detailed engineering of secondary electrical systems including protection, control, interlocking, and monitoring schemes.
• Develop and review protection and control philosophies for Oil & Gas and Energy facilities.
• Design control and relay schematics, wiring diagrams, IO lists, and cable schedules to international standards.
• Define and manage interfaces with DCS, PLC, SCADA, and ESD systems. - Review vendor documents, participate in technical bid evaluations, and manage design deviations.
• Support hazardous area classification and intrinsic safety design requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement within the electrical discipline.

What You Bring - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. -

• 10 to 15 years of experience in engineering consulting or EPCM environments.
