Job summary

SV Management Consultants is seeking a candidate to work on automotive electrical interface design for EVs. The role focuses on translating electrical architectures into functional schematics and harness layouts, selecting automotive-grade components, and ensuring safety and EMI/EMC compliance across vehicle circuits.

The ideal candidate has a BE in Electrical or Electronics and 2–3 years of experience in electrical schematics and wiring harness design, with proficiency in CATIA for wiring

Qualifications

• Experience in EV electrical systems integration.
• Knowledge of HV/LV distribution design and safety requirements.
• Familiarity with capital harness software (CHS) or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate electrical architectures into functional schematics and harness layouts.
• Select automotive-grade components (HV/LV fuse, cable, contactor, busbar size).
• Prepare HV/LV circuit schematics and harness drawings.
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance across vehicle circuits.
• Extract HV/LV wiring harness layouts using CATIA.

Role & responsibilities

• Work experience in domain of Automotive electrical and electronics interface design.
• Responsible to handle the electrical and electronic systems integration for Electric Vehicle (EV).
• This role focuses on translating electrical architectures into functional schematics, selecting
• automotive-grade components, and creating 3D/2D harness layouts that meet stringent safety,thermal, and manufacturing requirements.
• Automotive Component selection includes HV/LV fuse, HV/LV cable/wire, contactor, busbar size,selection.
• Preparation of HV/LV circuit schematics and harness drawing preparation in capital harness software (CHS).
• Designing, developing, and routing High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical distribution systems.
• Ensure seamless communication, power distribution, and functional safety/ EMI-EMC compliance across the entire vehicle circuits.
• Responsible for handling CATIA software to extract HV/LV wiring harness layout.
