Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced automotive wiring harness engineer to design, develop, and validate harness systems using CATIA V5 and other schematic tools. You will work on low and high voltage architectures for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, applying rigorous standards and packaging principles.

Collaborating with global, cross‑functional teams, you will ensure DFMEA, QCT/OTD targets, and design rule compliance across digital and physical mockups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of harness routing experience using CAD tools (Catia V5) for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of Product Data Management tools.
• Knowledge of complete vehicle architecture.
• Knowledge on harness components like connectors, wires, relays, fuses, protections, supports etc.
• Experience in wiring harness and vehicle development programs and DFMEA.
• Knowledge in product design and drawings of wiring harness including circuit schematics.
• Knowledge of automobile EE functions, on high-end vehicles (BCM/EMS/ABS/Airbags).

• Apply strong technical knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems, automotive standards, and packaging principles.
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.

Requirements
