Job summary

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals, LLC in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Senior Technical Sales professional to present sales and forecasts to management, build strong customer relationships, and identify growth opportunities in cutting tools and metalworking sectors.

You will coordinate with Projects, Application, and Support teams, conduct client trainings, negotiate orders, and implement contracts with direct customers and channel partners, thereby contributing to regional expansion and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related engineering field.
• 5–8 years in technical sales, application engineering, or business development in cutting tools or metalworking.
• Strong knowledge of turning, milling, drilling, reaming, and threading processes.
• Familiarity with CNC machining operations, cutting parameters, tool selection, cycle-time optimization.
• Ability to present technically and conduct customer trainings.

Responsibilities

• Present sales, revenue, and realistic forecasts to the management team.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs.
• Identify emerging business development opportunities while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
• Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's share at key accounts. Coordinate with Projects, Application, and Support teams to discuss and solve customer challenges.
• Engage at multiple levels and build brand value and rapport amongst key stakeholders at customer organizations.
• Conduct brand promotion activities, seminars, and product training programs at customer locations.
• Participate in major trials, troubleshooting activities, and documentation in coordination with CVF. Perform customer mapping and maintain customer profile cards.
• Negotiate with direct customers and channel partners to secure business orders.
• Coordinate with external and internal teams regarding payment follow-ups, order booking, and related business issues.
• Implement business contracts as per customer terms and conditions.

PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development within the cutting tools, tooling, metalworking, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of machine processes such as Turning, Milling, Drilling, Reaming, and Threading.
• Good understanding of Solid Carbide Tools, Indexable Cutting Tools, Carbide Rods, Inserts, and Special Purpose Tools.
• Ability to identify customer machining challenges and recommend suitable tooling solutions to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
• Familiarity with CNC machining operations, cutting parameters, tool selection, cycle-time optimization, and process improvements.
• Ability to conduct technical presentations, tool trials, product demonstrations, and customer training programs.
