Job summary

Ambetronics Engineers is seeking an Engineer R&D EMI EMC Division in Andheri East, Mumbai. The role focuses on EMI/EMC testing, product safety and certification processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards.

You will work on IEC-61010-1, UL-61010-1 and IEC-61508 related tests, perform environmental tests, analyze failures, and use EM analysis tools to validate designs. Strong knowledge of electronics and communication protocols is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with EMI/EMC testing and related standards.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC requirements and product certification processes.
• Familiarity with IEC-61010-1, UL-61010-1 and IEC-61508 standards.
• Experience using electromagnetic analysis tools.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Instrument fault finding and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Perform EMI/EMC testing and related environmental tests.
• Read schematics and diagnose faults in circuits.
• Test, debug and verify instrument performance.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analyses of failures.
• Use measuring tools for accurate evaluations.

• Knowledge about EMI/ EMC requirements


• CE Certification, Product Certification & Solutions.


• IEC-61010-1, UL-61010-1 & IEC-61508 Standard Tests.


• Experience using electromagnetic analysis tools


• Basic knowledge of electronic components is mandatory


• Schematic reading


• Instrument fault finding


• Instrument Testing and debugging


• Troubleshooting & root cause analyses of failure


• Know measuring tools knowledge

Key skills :

Concept of basic electronics components and knowledge of semiconductors, OPAM, Bridge rectifier, 2 wire, 3 wire, RS 485 communication protocol.

Schematic reading and MS office basic computer knowledge required.
