Job summary

Magna Powertrain in Bengaluru is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure project quality across CAP and CTP initiatives. You will define countermeasures, coach teams, and report statuses to management and customers.

With a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least 3 years in engineering and quality, you will apply ASPICE, ISO/SAE 21434, and ISO 26262 expertise, drive audits, and support ASPICE assessments while ensuring clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• 8D / Six-Sigma) and automotive standards experience is expected.
• Excellent knowledge of Functional Safety and ASPICE is required.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Project quality planning and status tracking.
• Execution of project audits and reviews according to QA plan.
• Definition of countermeasures for deviations and support of project team to meet quality requirements.
• Customer interface with OEMs and internal teams.
• Coaching of project team members and regular QA status reporting.
• Preparation for ASPICE assessments and customer audits.
