Job summary

Magna Powertrain in Bengaluru, India seeks an Engineer CAP Design to create and edit 3D CAD models and drawings in CATIA, and to arrange CATIA products. The role involves DFMEA/PFMEA support, ballooning of drawings, BOM preparation, and requirement tracking within a PLM framework.

Qualifications include a university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or physics and 3–8 years of relevant experience. CATIA V5, ENOVIA, Windchill, and 3DCS exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics, or similar with mechanical or electrical specialization.
• 3-8 years of professional experience in relevant field.
• Experience with CATIA V5, ENOVIA, Windchill; familiar with PLM and DFMEA/PFMEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create main and sub-assembly drawings and 3D models in CATIA.
• Prepare customer installation drawings and BOMs; track requirement status.
• Perform 1D tolerance stack-ups and ballooning of drawings.
• Support DFMEA/PFMEA and RISC analyses; track design reviews.
• Manage ballooning tools and related CAD documentation.
• Contribute to design reviews and process improvements.
