Job summary

Ohmium Operations Private Limited seeks an experienced supplier quality QA leader to drive quality across EMS, PCBA, cable harness and final assemblies in India. You will define supplier quality requirements, conduct audits, manage CAPA and drive improvements in PI KPIs.

You will own FAI for PCBA and harness builds, lead root-cause analysis and maintain readiness for PPAP and customer-specific quality requirements, ensuring on-time, compliant shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience with QA for EMS, PCBs/PCBA, cable harness and power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Handle Contract Manufacturing QA for EMS, cable harness and unit assembly.
• Define supplier quality requirements for PCBs, PCBA, components, power electronics and cable harness services.
• Conduct supplier audits, qualification, and performance reviews.
• Manage incoming quality issues and drive supplier corrective actions.
• Oversee QA across SMT, THT, selective soldering, wave soldering, coating, cable harness and final assembly.
• Own FAI for PCBA, cable harness and unit level builds.
• Define and monitor critical process parameters and inspection checkpoints.
• Drive RCA using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA.
• Lead CAPA for internal and customer issues.
• Track, analyze, and improve KPIs like FPY, DPPM, DOA, rework and scrap.
• Promote Lean, Six Sigma and mistake-proofing (Poka‑Yoke) initiatives.
• Manage customer complaints, returns and audits with timely actions.
• Get PPAP, FAIR and customer‑specific quality requirements.
• Ensure shipment readiness and quality acceptance criteria.

Conducting and owning the FAI for PCBA, Cable harness and Unit level build. Define and monitor critical process parameters and inspection checkpoints. Drive root cause analysis (RCA) using tools such as 8D, 5‑Why, Fishbone, FMEA. Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and customer issues. Track, analyze, and improve KPIs like FPY, DPPM, DOA, rework, and scrap. Promote Lean, Six Sigma, and mistake‑proofing (Poka‑Yoke) initiatives. Manage customer complaints, returns, and audits with timely closure of actions. Get PPAP, FAIR, and customer‑specific quality requirements. Ensure compliance with shipment readiness and quality acceptance criteria. IPC‑A‑610 CIS / CIT certified is desired Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus Lead Auditor – ISO 9001 / IATF / AS9100 certification is preferred.
