Federal Soft Systems in Delhi seeks a QA/QC Leader to oversee inspection and quality control across manufacturing processes. You will lead inspectors and NDT technicians, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

The role emphasizes establishing and maintaining QMS, reducing defects, coordinating with customers and auditors, and training staff to uphold high standards across production and installation stages.

Responsibilities

• Candidate will inspect, control quality, and document inspection results for manufacturing activities.
• Lead and manage a team of job inspectors and NDT technicians.
• Implement and maintain QMS for plant manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Develop QA plans and inspection procedures aligned with drawings, specs, and customer requirements.
• Ensure quality of raw materials, in-process, finished goods, and site erection/installation.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Candidate is expected to conduct inspection, control quality and document inspection results for the various activities related to manufacturing plant.
• Candidate shall be managing and leading group of job inspectors and NDT technicians.
• Candidate shall be responsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) for the plant manufacturing process equipment for various core sector industries.
• Candidate shall be competent to devise Quality Assurance plan and inspection test procedures in line with engineering drawings, documents, specifications and customers specific requirements.
• Candidate shall be responsible for ensuring quality standards for raw materials, in process activities, finished goods and erection/installation of equipment at site, as per laid down/documented procedures.
• Job involves analysis and remedial actions for elimination/minimising defects, reworks, rejection and non-conformities.
• Job involves interaction with customers, third party inspection agencies, consultants and various internal stakeholders, for handling inspections at various stages and during surveillance/recertification audits.
• Job involves implementing standard operating procedures and systems for efficient running of QA/QC department and training/grooming of staff at various levels such as job inspectors, NDT technicians, etc.
