Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior/Lead Developer in Chennai to build Python-based AI solutions leveraging LangGraph, LangChain, and agentic frameworks. You will design scalable backends with FastAPI, integrate with vector DBs, and implement robust DevOps practices.

The role requires 5+ years of software development, strong Python expertise, and hands-on experience with modern AI tooling, cloud readiness, and full-stack expectations on the frontend with Angular/React.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong Python proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agentic AI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, tool calling, memory, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience building RAG applications using vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, Qdrant).
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and REST API development.

Responsibilities
